About the Work

Laser Moiré is a set of acrylic panels which have been engraved with grid patterns on either side of the panel. The resulting moiré effect operates as a hologram, dancing to life as the viewer shifts their visual perspective of the panel, akin to a lenticular image. These works rely on embodied viewership to be experienced in full, challenging traditional expectations of galleries and art instutions.
